Clinical health IT market to grow to $19.7B value by 2019

The clinical health IT market is expected to reach a $19.7 billion value by 2019, according to a BCC Research report.

The market is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 4.8 percent through 2019 to reach the nearly $20 billion value.

In 2013, EHRs accounted for the largest market share at 61.5 percent, followed by telemedicine at 23 percent. Picture archiving and communication systems accounted for 7.8 percent of the market. The clinical health IT market was at a value of $14.1 billion in 2013.
