As CIO, she oversees the implementation of strategic planning and operational redesign for information services, networking, telecommunications and more for Johns Hopkins University and Health System.
During her time with Johns Hopkins, she has led the implementation of an electronic patient record and formed a governance structure that supports funding and priority setting across the organization.
Ms. Reel was named CIO of the year in 2000 by the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives. She earned her MBA from Loyola College in Maryland.
