CHI uses the FollowMyHealth patient engagement platform in its ambulatory settings. The health system will now replace one of its legacy acute care patient portals with the Allscripts platform.
Additionally, CHI will utilize Allscripts’ FollowMyHealth Achieve, which allows provides to enter orders directly into the Allscripts TouchWorks EHR. Patients are able to access these orders through the portal. Home-based wireless technologies health clinicians monitor patient compliance.
“Allscripts’ FollowMyHealth was immediately successful for our organization, with 46,000 patients enrolling in a just few months. Our goal is to provide our patients with an easy way to interact with their healthcare providers and personal health information,” said Samuel Alfano, DO, CMIO of CHI.
