PMMC grants Maury Regional Medical Center revenue cycle award for price transparency

Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tenn., has received a 2015 Revenue Cycle Leadership Award for “Bridging the Price Transparency Gap.”

Revenue cycle management solutions company PMMC formally granted the award to members of the hospital’s finance team Aug. 13.

Maury Regional Medical Center uses existing claims data to generate upfront payment estimates for patients. This year, the medical center has offered nearly 10,000 financial estimates to patients.

PMMC provides services to nearly 400 hospitals across the country.
