Chicago-based Navigant Consulting selected James Mapes to lead the firm's Cymetrix business, which provides business process and revenue cycle management solutions.
Here are three things to know about Mr. Mapes.
1. Mr. Mapes has more than 25 years of experience in senior management and spent more than 10 years in healthcare business process operations and technology services.
2. Before joining Navigant, Mr. Mapes led Genpact's global healthcare business and served as practice leader for the company's integrated healthcare and life sciences business.
3. Prior to Genpact, he worked at Optum, the health services platform of UnitedHealth Group, as senior vice president for global BPO growth, payment integrity and operation. He also held various leadership positions at WellPoint/Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Perot Systems, American International Group and Prudential Insurance Company of America.
