Here are eight healthcare industry CFOs who were recently in the news.

1. Janice Klostermeier was in the news as she was named senior vice president and CFO of Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys, Calif.

2. Joyce Tamori was in the news as she was named CFO of Wailuku, Hawaii-based Maui Health System.

3. Mary Beth Briscoe, CFO, University of Alabama-Birmingham Hospital and UAB Medicine Clinical Operations, was in the news discussing how provider organizations can improve revenue cycle performance. 

4. Diane Hansen, CFO of Escondido, Calif.-based Palomar Health, was in the news discussing Palomar Health's projected operating income.

5. Brian Church, senior vice president and CFO of Albany, Ga.-based Phoebe Putney Health System, was in the news discussing his greatest challenges as a revenue cycle leader and how he would improve the revenue cycle process.
