UPMC opens $19M outpatient center

Pittsburg-based UPMC will open its $19 million, three-story outpatient center in Hampton, Pa., Thursday, according to the Tribune-Review.

The 44,000-square-foot building will house a variety of services including primary care, women’s health, pediatric, radiology and rehabilitation and laboratory services. The center will also have a playroom for children.

“This $19 million community investment provides a wide range of outpatient services and brings together the clinical and administrative talent and expertise of UPMC St. Margaret and UPMC Passavant,” hospital officials said in a statement. “The new medical complex will make it as easy as possible for patients to obtain the care and services they need close to home, conveniently and efficiently.”
