UCHealth in Colorado seeks to fill hundreds of positions at new hospital

Aurora, Colo.-based UCHealth seeks to fill about 240 positions to staff Highlands Ranch (Colo.) Hospital, scheduled to open in the spring, the nonprofit health system announced.

UCHealth said it already has filled about half of the 500 staff positions for Highlands Ranch, including director jobs and several manager and supervisor jobs.

Available posts include registered nurse, medical lab scientist, MRI technician, obstetrical technician, interventional technologist, certified nursing assistant and facilities maintenance manager and specialist.

Highlands Ranch Hospital, about 340,000 square feet, will have a birth center, 18-bed intensive care unit, operating rooms, level 3 trauma center and an emergency department. It will sit next to the 85,000-square-foot UCHealth Highlands Ranch Medical Center, which will have a two-story cancer center with advanced oncology services.
