Texas community to see more than 200 new jobs with opening of rehab hospital

A new rehabilitation hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas, is slated to add more than 200 jobs, according to the Alice Echo-News Journal.

The PAM Rehabilitation Hospital of Corpus Christi will be a freestanding facility with three floors, 40 inpatient rehabilitation beds and 20 long-term acute care beds, according to the report. It will offer wound care, therapy and other outpatient services as well as inpatient medical rehabilitation.

The hospital is slated to open in May 2018, according to the report. In the meantime, an acute care career fair is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Feb. 7 at the PAM Specialty Hospital of Corpus Christi South. Open positions at the PAM Rehabilitation Hospital of Corpus Christi include therapy, nursing and service jobs.
