Reno-based Oncology Nevada has added two radiation oncologists, Brandon Dyer, MD, and Erik Stickney, MD, to its physician team.
The additions expand the cancer center’s capacity to serve patients across Northern Nevada, according to a July 13 news release from Oncology Nevada shared with Becker’s.
Dr. Dyer brings experience in prostate brachytherapy, stereotactic radiation surgery and adaptive radiation technologies. He has received the Roentgen Resident/Fellow Research Award from the Radiological Society of North America and the Dean’s Excellence Gynecology Brachytherapy Award from Sacramento, Calif.-based UC Davis Health.
Dr. Stickney has experience in stereotactic radiosurgery, brachytherapy and adaptive radiation therapy. He is a retired U.S. Army Medical Corps major who earned the Bronze Star for achievements during his deployment to Afghanistan.
Oncology Nevada operates alongside Urology Nevada and Surgery Nevada, offering individualized radiation therapy plans across the region, the release said.
