The finding comes from Monster’s 2018 midyear jobs report, which examined data to identify the most in-demand jobs. Registered nurses topped the list of jobs most frequently posted on Monster, followed by software developers, supervisors of retail sales workers and customer service representatives.
Monster said that nursing’s No. 1 ranking is in line with projections from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, which estimates registered nurse jobs will grow by 15 percent through 2026.
