Job center spokesperson Katherine Trombetta told the TV station a wide range of companies are participating in the event, and jobs are available “not just in Springfield, [Mo.], but also in Polk County, Webster County, Stone and Taney counties.”
Overall, she estimated there are hundreds of openings across companies.
Healthcare organizations participating in the hiring event include Burrell Behavioral Health, Bolivar, Mo.-based Citizens Memorial Hospital, Springfield-based CoxHealth, Haven Healthcare, and Kindred at Home Community Care.
The event is scheduled for 3 to 6 p.m. Jan. 22 at the Missouri Job Center in Springfield.
