Park Nicollet Health Services based in St. Louis Park will cut 3 percent of its employees (233 people) and North Memorial Health Care in Robbinsdale will lay off 7 percent of its workforce (380 people), according to the story.

The announced layoffs come only a few months after two other large organizations in the area — Allina Hospitals and Clinics and Fairview Health Services — announced hundreds of layoffs of their own.
