With a contract start date of July 1, CEP recruiters began their provider search in March. They faced a tall order: hire eight new full-time physicians and four new full-time PA/NPs in a region where CEP America did not yet have a presence. The team began by attending local medical conferences in the region and raising awareness around CEP America and the new opportunity at Saint Agnes Hospital in Baltimore. Simultaneously, the lead recruiter began cold calling residents and providers in the region. CEP America’s unique practice model and record of success resonated so well that every position was filled by May – nearly two months before the contract start date.
