The hospital industry has been increasing employment over the past several months, growing from 4.77 million jobs in Sept. 2011 to 4.79 million jobs in Nov. 2011. The overall healthcare industry, including ambulatory healthcare and home healthcare, added more than 17,000 jobs from Oct. 2011-Nov. 2011.
