Half of ‘Toughest Jobs to Fill in 2018’ are in healthcare

Five of the 10 toughest jobs to fill this year are in healthcare, due to high demand and shortages in these professions, according to a CareerCast report.

To compile the list, CareerCast studied Bureau of Labor Statistics forecasts, trade and professional association data, graduation rates and the website’s own job listing database.

Here are the five healthcare jobs that made the list.

No. 4 — Home health aide

No. 6 — Medical services manager

No. 7 — Nurse practitioner

No. 8 — Personal care aide

No. 9 — Physical therapist
