Elizabethtown (N.Y.) Community Hospital. Elizabethtown Community Hospital is a designated critical access hospital. The health system houses 25 beds and 194 employees and strives to show gratitude to its employees in many ways. For example, employees are entitled to take the day off on their birthday, and the hospital CEO presents employees with a personal birthday card containing $20. During Thanksgiving, the hospital purchases a turkey for each staff member. At the end of the year, each hospital employee receives a “thank you” incentive payment.
