Greensboro, N.C.-based Cone Health has partnered with the Town of Mooresville, N.C., to open an employee care center for town employees, retirees and dependents.

The clinic will provide primary care, preventative care and work-related care, including drug tests and screenings, according to a May 14 health system news release.

It marks the Cone Health’s entrance into the Iredell County market, Greensboro News and Record reported May 14.

Cone Health said the clinic also will offer classes and events focused on healthy eating, exercise and management of chronic conditions such as diabetes.

The center’s services will supplement existing benefits offered to Mooresville employees, including health, life, dental, vision and prescription drug coverage. The clinic will operate Monday through Friday and be staffed by a team of healthcare providers, the release said.
