About 500 nursing jobs open at St. Vincent Indianapolis

St. Vincent Indianapolis, part of St. Louis-based Ascension, seeks to hire about 500 nurses, according to local television station RTV6.

About 350 of the openings are at central Indiana hospital locations, and 150 are at neighborhood and physician locations.

Mary Myers, MSN, RN, CNO for St. Vincent Indianapolis, told the station it offers nurses an opportunity to earn overtime pay, flexible schedules and other benefits.

St. Vincent Indianapolis has scheduled a nursing recruitment and open house for 5:30 to 8 p.m. May 8 at the William K. Nasser, MD, Healthcare Education and Simulation Center in Indianapolis. Experienced RNs are welcome.
