Several of the colleges on LinkedIn News’ annual list of the 50 best schools for long-term career success are affiliated with academic health systems.
The LinkedIn Top Colleges 2026 list, published Aug. 4, includes the U.S. colleges that best set their graduates up for career success, using LinkedIn data ranking colleges on five pillars: job placement, internships and recruiter demand, career success, network strength and knowledge breadth.
The list only includes U.S.-based, regionally accredited four-year baccalaureate programs actively enrolling first-year students, with at least 2,000 total alumni.
Long-term career success has remained a focus for hospitals and health systems, including through leadership-development programs, cross-committee exposure to senior leaders and intentional career conversations, human resources executives told Becker’s in June.
Health systems affiliated with the top five universities include Durham, N.C.-based Duke University Health System, Somerville, Mass.-based Mass General Brigham, and Lebanon, N.H.-based Dartmouth Health.
