Whidbey General Hospital, nurses reach tentative contract: 3 things to know

Nurses at Coupeville, Wash.-based Whidbey General Hospital, represented by the Washington State Nurses Association, have reached a tentative contract agreement with management, according to a Whidbey News-Times report.

Here are three things to know about the contract.

1. The contract comes after nearly a year of negotiations.

2. Details of the agreement will not be disclosed until the contract is ratified.

3. Sticking points during negotiations have included rest breaks, pay and training, according to the report.
