Jobs across several departments in Mountain View Medical Center in Norton, Va., Lonesome Pine Hospital in Norton and Lee Regional Medical Center in Pennington Gap, Va., will be cut, according to the report.

Wellmont is making the staff reductions for several reasons, including sequester cuts, decreased Medicare reimbursements and the lack of Medicaid expansion in Virginia, according to the report.
