To help accomplish this, recruiters from several departments met with hundreds of potential new hires Friday during a job fair, according to the report.

Most of the open jobs are in nursing, as well as areas such as food and nutrition and pharmacy.

Recruiters told KCRG every person who attended the job fair Friday will receive a follow-up email with a person to contact as the hiring process continues.
