Ohio hospital plans job fair, seeks to hire more than 50 workers: 4 things to know

Middletown, Ohio-based Atrium Medical Center is looking to hire more than 50 experienced healthcare workers, including dozens of nurses, according to a Cincinnati Business Courier report.

Here are four things to know about the openings, as stated in the report.

1. Half of the open positions are for registered nurses, including jobs in surgery, surgery center pre-op, intensive care, advanced cardiac care, inpatient rehab, cath lab, endoscopy, behavioral health and admission/discharge.

2. Allied health positions are also open. Those positions include inpatient pharmacist, radiology tech, certified surgical tech, cath lab/EP radiology tech, weekend CT tech, occupational therapist, physical therapist, lab medical technologist and medical assistant.

3. A hospital spokeswoman told the Cincinnati Business Courier some of the jobs are open due to vacancies and others are new positions created because of continued high patient volume at Atrium Medical Center.

4. To fill the open positions, the hospital has scheduled a job fair for Oct. 14 in the main lobby of the hospital.
