Under an agreement with Canton-Potsdam Hospital in Potsdam, N.Y., E.J. Noble will dissolve operations and be taken over by newly formed Gouverneur Hospital. Because E.J. Noble will be dissolved, so will its contracts with the Service Employees International Union and the New York State Nurses Association, according to the report.

Though Gouverneur Hospital plans to negotiate contracts with the unions, employees must apply for their jobs again.
