Also on Monday, there was a hearing in Detroit’s federal court on the outsourcing decision, and oral arguments will happen Wednesday, according to the report. The lawsuit was brought by the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Council 25 and asks a judge to stop DMC from outsourcing to a new vendor while labor negotiations are happening, according to the report.
