1. The first eight jobs on the list were in healthcare. All of the following jobs earn a median hourly wage of $90 or more.
- Anesthesiologists
- Physicians and surgeons not listed in separate categories by the BLS
- Chief executives
- Psychiatrists
- Internists
- Orthodontists
- Obstetricians and gynecologists
- Surgeons
2. Pediatricians ranked No. 11 on the highest paying jobs in the state with a median hourly wage of $79.74.
3. Nurse anesthetists ranked No. 12 on the highest paying jobs in the state with a median hourly wage of $78.85.
4. Dentists and all other specialists ranked No. 13 on the highest paying jobs in the state with a median hourly wage of $72.24.
5. Oral and maxillofacial surgeons ranked No. 15 on the highest paying jobs in the state with a median hourly wage of $70.29.
6. Family and general practitioners ranked No. 17 on the highest paying jobs in the state with a median hourly wage of $68.68.
