Yale-New Haven Hospital to Open Pediatric Specialty Center

Yale-New Haven (Conn.) Children’s Hospital plans to open its 11,000-square-foot Pediatric Specialty Center in Norwalk, Conn., July 2, according to an Hour report.

The center will offer outpatient services in adolescent medicine and pediatric cardiology, craniofacial, endocrinology, gastroenterology, hematology, neurology, neurosurgery, ophthalmology, orthopedics, surgery and urology. The facility will also include pediatric radiology and blood drawing services.

In addition, Yale-New Haven Hospital has partnered with The Stepping Stones Museum for Children in Norwalk, which has designed a digitally projected interactive wall in the new pediatric center.

Yale-New Haven Hospital is also discussing a potential partnership with Norwalk (Conn.) Hospital to enhance pediatric care.

The new facility will be Yale-New Haven’s fifth pediatric center.
