Wilmar Medical Services Joint Venture Incorporates Anesthesia and Sleep Lab Services

Wilmar Medical Services, a joint venture between Rice Memorial Hospital and Affiliated Community Medical Centers in Wilmar, Minn., is finalizing incorporation of anesthesiology and sleep lab services.

The finalization comes after two years of discussions.  
 
Employees will continue to work for either RMH or ACMC until 2016, when they will become direct employees of WMS Both institutions say that layoffs will be unlikely, as the purpose of the incorporation is to grow both departments.
