Bakersfield Heart Hospital Acquired by Cardiovascular Care Group

Bakersfield (Calif.) Heart Hospital has been acquired by Nashville, Tenn.-based Cardiovascular Care Group.

Bakersfield Heart Hospital is CCG’s second major acquisition this year as it works to form a national network of regionally integrated delivery systems providing quality cardiovascular care.

The 47-bed heart hospital was built in 1999 through a partnership between MedCath and several physicians.
