Elva Sipin was appointed COO of PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center in Longview, Wash., effective April 28.
Ms. Sipin, a respiratory therapist who started as a certified nursing assistant, brings more than 25 years of healthcare experience to the role, according to a health system news release.
Most recently, she served as interim COO of PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, Wash., while maintaining her system role with PeaceHealth as system vice president of clinical services and operations.
PeaceHealth, based in Vancouver, has approximately 16,000 caregivers, a group practice with more than 1,200 providers and nine medical centers in the Northwest.
