The following new board members have each been elected to a three-year term, according to a news release.
- Michael Butler, president of operations and services at Renton, Wash.-based Providence Health & Services
- Dean Gruner, MD, president and CEO of Neenah, Wis.-based ThedaCare
- Mark E. Larmore, group senior vice president, CFO and assistant treasurer at New York-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City.
The new board chair is CFO Marna Borgstrom, president and CEO of Yale-New Haven (Conn.) Health System. She succeeds Patrick Fry, president and CEO of Sacramento, Calif.-based Sutter Health.
The VHA board includes 20 executives and physicians from member organizations, in addition to directors from non-VHA members.
