Southside Regional Medical Center Breaks Ground on $10M Cancer Center

Southside Regional Medical Center in Petersburg, Va., has broken ground on a $10 million cancer center and medical building, according to a Progress-Index report.

The 32,500-square-foot Southside Regional Medical Arts Pavilion will include a cancer center, a women’s imaging center and physician offices.
The cancer center will be approximately 20,000 square feet — approximately double the size of the current facility. The cancer center will also house a new infusion services department.

The new building is expected to be completed in August 2013.
