University of Kansas Hospital Sets Inpatient, Outpatient Volume Records

The University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, Kan., has set record patient volumes during the last fiscal year, according to a report in the Kansas City Business Journal.

As of June 30, inpatient discharges for the year were up more than 8 percent to 24,209, compared with 23,393 in the previous year.

Outpatient volume was also up 13 percent to 337,359 from 298,920 the previous year, according to the report.
