United Hospital (St. Paul, Minn.). United Hospital is home to a branch of the Virginia Piper Cancer Institute, which received the American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer Seal of Approval with commendation. United Hospital is affiliated with the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group, a multidisciplinary organization focused on biomarker-driven cancer research, and the National Cancer Institute Community Clinical Oncology Program, which brings cancer prevention clinical trials and care delivery research to 46 community sites across the U.S. CareChex ranked United Hospital No. 3 in Minnesota for cancer care in 2017.
