Reid Hospital had provided cardiology services to Fayette Regional through its Richmond Cardiology Associates.
Fayette Regional Health System patients will now receive cardiology care from St. Vincent Carmel (Ind.) Hospital’s The Care Group under a three-year agreement. The health system made the change at the request of its patients, according to the report. The Care Group cardiologists will offer some cardiac testing at Fayette Regional but will provide advanced cardiac care only at St. Vincent Carmel Hospital.
Reid cardiologists will continue local office hours in Connersville and serve patients at Whitewater Valley Medical Center in Connersville, which Reid owns.
