UCLA Medical Center and Orthopedic Hospital (Santa Monica, Calif.).
The UCLA Medical Center and Orthopedic Hospital is a joint alliance between UCLA Health and the Los Angeles Orthopaedic Hospital at UCLA’s Santa Monica campus. The Luskin Children’s Clinic for pediatric orthopedics and an outpatient clinic for adults are housed in the collaborative hospital, which was ranked one of the best hospitals for orthopedics for 2014-15 by U.S. News & World Report. It is also a Blue Distinction Center for knee and hip replacement and a Blue Distinction Center Plus for spine surgery. In 2010, UCLA launched the first hand transplant program on the West Coast, which was also one of the first in the country.
