The $6 million cancer center at Lowell General’s Saints Campus will close and all outpatient cancer services will be consolidated at LGH’s cancer center at its main campus. The consolidation will eliminate duplicate services and provide higher quality through the combined patient volume, according to the report.
LGH and Saints Medical Center received approval from the state and Catholic Church to merge in June. The hospitals are currently joining operations under a parent company called Circle Health.
