Shore Health operates Shore Memorial Hospital, Shore Cancer Center and Shore LifeCare at Parksley, located in the Eastern Shore region of Virginia. According to the report, as with other Riverside-affiliated hospitals, Shore Health will continue to be operated by a volunteer board, and the chairman will also sit on Riverside’s board.
Riverside has also promised to invest in the construction of a replacement hospital for Shore Memorial, according to the report.
