Two New York City-Area Hospitals Close

Two New York City-area hospitals, St. John’s Queens Hospital in Elmhurst and Mary Immaculate Hospital in Jamaica, have closed, according to a report by NY1 News.

The parent company of both hospitals, Caritas Healthcare, recently filed for bankruptcy.

The closings will put approximately 2,500 people out of work.
