The center is recognized as one of the top 50 hospitals in the nation for cancer care by the U.S. News & World Report. Thomas Jefferson is also Magnet-recognized for nursing excellence and is one of 69 National Cancer Institute-designated Cancer Centers. This SKCC launched its first Center of Excellence for Cancer Risk, Prevention and Control, which will marry population science with basic and clinical programs.
