Texas Institute for Surgery’s David Helfer Earns ACHE Fellow Status

David Helfer, president of Texas Institute for Surgery at Texas Health Presbyterian Dallas, has received fellow status in the American College of Healthcare Executives.

To receive the FACHE credential, candidates must pass the Board of Governors Examination in Healthcare Management and have at least five years of healthcare management experience, among other requirements.

Mr. Helfer was named TIS president in July 2011.
