Texas Children’s Neurology and Developmental Neuroscience department is staffed by 50 faculty members including neurologists, developmental pediatricians, neurophysiologists and research scientists. Capturing the No. 2 spot for U.S. News & World Report’s best hospitals for pediatric neurology and neurosurgery rankings for 2016-17, the 629-bed hospital’s neurology clinics see more than 20,000 patients annually. Texas Children’s Hospital also houses the Jan and Dan Duncan Neurological Research Institute, which is designed to facilitate the discovery and understanding of children’s neurological disorders.
