WellStar will assist North Fulton in managing an employed physician practice, educating and training clinical hospital staff and achieving accreditation in several cardiology-related areas.
As part of the partnership, North Fulton will open an outpatient cardiac diagnostic center on its campus and will begin performing percutaneous coronary interventions next month. The hospital will also seek accreditation for its new service lines in 2014, according to the report.
