The health system confirmed the continued closure of Sutter Lakeside Hospital and a variety of medical offices in a prepared statement. The hospital had been under evacuation order since July 28. A team of officials is reportedly working on-site to ensure the facility can reopen once they receive the all-clear.

Officials said in the statement it is unclear when the hospital will reopen.

Sutter Health aims to actively support patients and employees affected by the wildfires. The health system donated $100,000 to the American Red Cross California Wildfires Fund to bring food, water and emergency shelter to families in need.

The Mendocino Complex fire encompasses more than 218,000 acres and is 23 percent contained, CBS-13 Sacramento reports.
