IU Health Stroke Telemedicine will connect stroke specialists in the Indianapolis area with seven rural community hospitals, allowing IU Health-affiliated neurologists to interact in real-time with patients and physicians in distant locations.
The telemedicine program is part of a statewide initiative to help critical access hospitals implement the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s Get with the Guidelines stroke program.
