The Outpatient Imaging Efficient-State database collects hospitals’ use of medical imaging tests for outpatients. The data cover outpatient imaging procedures performed between July 2022 and June 2023 and were last updated July 31.
Rates for a variety of imaging, including breast cancer screening recall rates, are included. Recall rates refer to the percentage of mammograms that result in a recommendation for additional workup, such as imaging or invasive procedures.
