National Cancer Institute breast cancer screening rates are based on telephone survey data from the CDC’s Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System. The data represents women across all races, age 40 and older, who had a mammogram within two years of the survey.
The national breast cancer screening rate in 2022 was 70.2%.
