The Mayo Clinic Cancer Care Network allows Coborn Cancer Center patients to benefit from Mayo Clinic’s expertise close to home. The Coborn Cancer Center will remain an independent, community-based cancer program.
The network provides members with access to the following resources:
• AskMayoExpert, which includes Mayo Clinic’s evidence-based disease management protocols, clinical care guidelines, treatment recommendations and reference materials for various medical conditions.
• eConsults, which allows member physicians to connect with a Mayo expert for input on specific questions.
• Administrative consulting for clinical practice models.
The Mayo Clinic Cancer Care Network is an offshoot of the Mayo Clinic Care Network, which was launched last year. Network members pay a subscription fee to Mayo, according to a Grand Forks Herald report.
