St. Louis Hospital Builds Cancer Institute, Includes Surgery Center

St. Louis-based St. John’s Mercy Health Care is building a $35 million facility to house its recently acquired St. Louis Cancer and Breast Institute, according to a report by the St. Louis Business Journal.

St. John’s acquired the Institute last fall. After the new facility in west St. Louis County is completed, the Institute will relocate from its current locations in Creve Coeur, Mo., and Des Peres, Mo.

The 125,000-square-foot facility will feature an ambulatory surgery center, an imaging center, a lab and vascular and cardiology services.
